Job Description:

The Plastic Extrusion Technician’s role is to operate, set-up, clean, and maintain his or her assigned production line that meets MAC Plastics Manufacturing’s quality standards in a safe and timely manner.

Primary Job Functions:

• Manufacture quality parts in acceptable quantities.

• Performing quality checks on finished goods as they are produced.

• Cleaning and basic maintenance of all production equipment.

• Packaging manufactured products, including constructing racks.

• Maintain and a clean and safe work environment at all times.

• Maintain excellent communication with all team members.

• Helping out other team members wherever needed.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Mechanical Skills

• Basic Computer Knowledge

• Plastics Manufacturing Experience is a Plus

Personal Skills:

• Reliability

• Organization

• Problem-Solving Skills

Physical Demands:

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching for prolonged amounts of time.

Expected Hours of Work:

• 1st Shift: 7am – 3 pm

• 2nd Shift 3pm – 11 pm

• 3rd Shift: 11pm – 7am

Scheduled Shift is based on needs of company and seniority. Overtime may be available and will first be offered on a voluntary basis based on seniority.
