Illinois Department of Transportation US 50 Expansion Informational Meeting

The Illinois Department of Transportation will be holding  a Public Informational Meeting to discuss the expansion of approximately 27 miles of US Route 50 to an expressway from Olney in Richland County to Lawrenceville in Lawrence County.

The meetings are an opportunity for you to review and comment on the roadway and access options that have been refined since our last public meeting. The project limits, Community Advisory Group activities, project purpose and need, schedule and other engineering and environmental project details will be displayed for public inspection at the meeting.
