Battle Royale Softball Tournament

Large 30+ Team Softball Tournament at Musgrove Park in Olney Illinois
This tournament is unsanctioned, NSA rules will apply. Each division will only play on 1-day. 8U, 10U, and 14U will play on Sat only. 12U and the H.S. division will play on Sun only. 16U and 18U divisions will be combined with the highest finishing team from each age group receiving trophies. If both teams in the Championship game are 16U teams then both will receive trophies and no 18U team will. If the 2 highest finishing 16U teams are eliminated in the semifinals then a 16U Championship game will be played at the same time as the 18U Championship game. No gate fees or Fri games. Format will be 3gg for $300 (8U - $200) with 2 pool games and single elim. Games will start no earlier than 9:00 AM and Championship games will be no later than 7:00 PM. There is no entry form so just email, facebook message, or call/text 618-838-6334 with your team info to reserve a spot. Mail and make out payment to Shawn Sanders, 816 E. Cherry St., Olney, IL 62450. All teams must provide a paper copy of their travel softball insurance and turn in a roster before being allowed to play. Unless noted on the schedule, all games in 10U/12U/14U/H.S. will be 70 min (finish the inn) or 6 inn max. Pool games can end in a tie. ********** 8U - All 8U games will be 65 min (finish the inn) or 6 inn max. 5 runs max per inning in the first 4 innings and 10 max in the 5th and 6th innings. Mercy rule for 8U is 16 after 4 inn, 11 after 5 inn or anytime in the 6th inn.
